Neuro-Linguistic Programming Neuro-Linguistic Programming Neuro-Linguistic Programming eter F. Kean, NLPt., a certified NLP Trainer and certified Master Practitioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis, is the Director of The Neuro-Linguistic Programming Institute of Washington DC. A Fellow in the International Neuro-Linguistic Programming Association, Peter has been practicing and teaching NLP for more than 20 years. He maintains a private practice in New York's Hudson Valley. Peter has extensive experience in the worlds of business and government and is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development.

Prior to entering the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Peter's education focused on electronics and business. The majority of his business interests are located in the Hudson Valley area of New York State, and he maintains an affiliation with a Department of Defense emergency communications program, previously holding state and national level positions. His graduate work included Defense Systems Analysis and Naval Intelligence, as well as Human Resources Management. He also holds a diploma in National Security from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Most recently he completed a review and study for the Committee on National Security of the United States House of Representatives. Peter is a Principal member of the Council for Exelecence in Government

Peter is well educated in NLP with more than 1400 hours of classroom instruction. He was certified as a trainer by Annie' Linden of the New York Training Institute for NLP. The following is an excerpt from the NY Training Institute brochure:

A believer in lifelong learning, Peter is constantly on the lookout for new developments in NLP and related fields. His diverse background and wide range of knowledge allow him to offer teaching examples of NLP applications to a broad range of topics. Peter was a participant in the recent NLP Community Leadership Project at Santa Cruz, California. He especially enjoys writing metaphorical stories, and one of his published NLP articles is included in this web site.

Peter says that in addition to the excitement he experiences as an NLP instructor, what he finds particularly gratifying is helping clients with their problems and assisting them in the discovery of previously unknown resources and solutions for growth, development and choice through the incredible power of NLP.
